Right away, I could tell Midnight Bourbon was made with natural ingredients—it didn’t break me out or irritate my skin like most beard products do. The medium hold lasted most of the day, even while working outside, and it kept my beard in place without feeling greasy or too heavy. The scent was smooth and pleasant, but I wish it were a little stronger. Overall, it’s a great balm for guys with sensitive skin looking for a lightweight, all-day hold.

I have not really ever used any beard product before but I wanted to give this one a shot. The first thing I like about this already is the look and design of the balm can itself its a nice black aluminum can with a pretty cool looking design. So this scent of beard balm that I have is called lions mane as you can see the picture of the lion on the front, the smell is pleasant and mild not too strong however strong enough to smell good. The balm itself doesn't feel oily and it is gentle on the skin, it has made my beard less itchy and more manageable. I have noticed over the 3 weeks of using the balm that it has indeed softened up my beard. Overall I rate this 5 out of 5 in overall score and would highly recommend this product to others if you are looking for a more natural, good smelling beard balm in the world of beard products for men.
